Loved the Chile and fries, Tom loved his beef barbeque and fries, and the staff were awesome. Mr Stan himself came to our table, very cordial and delicious. Wonderful place to eat and enjoy guests.

This gem is located back from the main road and worth finding. We have been here several times and we have been impressed whether they are busy or slow. Staff is always helpful and pleasant. Everything we’ve tried has been very good and the variety of sauces is another plus when visiting BBQ restaurants. Great for families with children or a date night!

Rudest manager i ever encountered!! Food was decent but have had better.

Ribs and Smoked Chicken Wings were great. Waitress was friendly and provided excellent service.

Live about 30 minutes away, but I've never eaten here before. It was excellent, from the service to the food! It was great! Definitely come here if you're passing through Greenville!

My favorite restaurant since I was a child. The pulled pork is the best around, but the ribs... The ribs are magical.

I don't ever write reviews, but this is one of the better small locally owned restaraunts I've been to. The atmosphere, the service, and the food itself is great, and at fair price. I would definitely reccomend Stan's to anyone passing through Greeneville.

This is the most mediocre barbeque experience ever. I'm so sad that this is all we have.

If I could give this a 0, I would. A BBQ place that doesn't put BBQ sauce on their ribs or their wings. Everything was bland. No salt. No pepper. It felt like a retirement home, from the decor to the clientele. Save your money. Go to the store. Get sweet baby ray's and you could make food worlds above this place. Also, their 'firewater', homemade hot sauce, was just salt and pepper in water.

The food was tasty, but it would be better if the sauce was served on the side

Stan has been around a long time and has "mastered" his place so to speak . I will say though , more items are needed and change needs to happen . The same food for 20 years says something , but it could say something better with more menu options. Stan don't go stale .

Love the place the emploees are nice love the barque beef but the chicken tasted kind of wild over all loved it

Good BBQ and sides when you can get it. Often out of sides. Best to go in and eat, when calling in a to go order more often than not your placed on a long hold then disconnected. Would rate a 5 star if I could place a to go order without being placed on a long hold then disconnected.

Everything is good but those wings are sweet and sticky... Im wanting some now lol.

Good food fast drive through service

Guess you have to know a server to actually receive service at this restaurant. Everything we received we had to ask for it. It took us over an hour to get our food from the time we ordered it. We had to wait 20 min to even order. We won't be back

World's best BBQ and even better burgers.

Staff wonderful. Large portions. Disappointed in sweet potato fries. Were frozen fries and actually needed a little more cooking time. BBQ ok. Would I go back probably not. Would try somewhere different.

Good food, charming decor. The place has personality! I had the cheeseburger and it had excellent flavor. My dad had the pulled beef BBQ and was pleased as well. Good first visit and look forward to trying other menu items!

At first we were left at the door for 15 minutes without even an acknowledgement. They were busy, but they could have at least said "we'll be right with you". After we were seated, our waitress was excellent, she apologized for the long wait and took our order. She had our food out in a flash and kept our drinks filled. The food was excellent, I very rarely finish all my food, but I did here. I had the pulled pork plate, with fries and bbq beans. Sarah saved the day, it had been a long, hot, miserable day outside in the sun.

Great barbecue! Sweet potato was awesome! Sweet savory ribs! Staff very helpful and accommodating! Price just right! Visit Greenville, stop at Stan's!

Service was great. Best I ever had there. Pork was a little chewy but still very good. Overall good dining experience.

Food was ok until I saw a woman carry a little dog right through the middle of the restaurant and stopped to let the servers pet it. Then the woman and her party went outside to the porch area. Which was fine until we got to watch the staff bring something for the dog to eat in the restaurant bowls and it ate it straight out of the bowl! Then the staff proceeded to pet all over the dog again. It was disgusting.... I personally will never eat with my family here again. It's supposed to be a restaurant, not a petting zoo!

Great food at a great price. Special orders don't upset them. Like family...very friendly.

We hit Stan's BBQ during a very busy lunch time, and the service is reasonably quick. Our server was pleasant and the food was okay. I ordered a veggie burger and the Patty was tasty, but exceptionally slim so you can ask for two which is what I would recommend. You probably have to pay for two as well though. Others in the party had salads with chicken in the Hamburger, and all said it was a good.

Nice atmosphere Wasn't crowded for a Saturday lunch. Service was fast and friendly! Food was good. Wouldn't recommend the NC slaw, definitely get the sweet coleslaw. BBQ was pretty good, but I've had better. Fried chips with ranch are really good. Definitely a solid 4 maybe even better depending on your pick of food.

Excellent barbecue. The pork platter is a generous helping. I haven't found anything on the menu that wasn't good. This is a go-to restaurant for out of town guests.

Stan's BBQ catered our family reunions at the Davy Crockett birthplace State Park pavilion they arrived early they set everything up. ALL our guest arrived excited and eager to try some southern barbecue they were not disappointed. the pulled pork, the ribs, beans, potato salad and sweet slaw were all amazing they provided us with a blackberry cobbler that along with other desserts disappeared as quick.... everyone that ate thoroughly enjoyed it we have reserves leftover for another day.... we ordered drinks of tea for 60 and it was very very hot day probably should have ordered more because it wasn't enough... but other than that everything was fabulous way to Stan good job!

Ribs are like candy. Great atmosphere. Good ol country eatin.

This food was gross. This is not bbq. The sauce tasted like ketchup. The ribs tasted like lighter fluid. The service was horrible.

Always love eating here. The salads are delicious. If you haven't had the cheeseburgers they are totally amazing. The country decor is so cute. They bbq is good and so are the hotdogs. I try to eat here as often as my schedule allows.

Burgers are amazing! A nice, clean place and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely eat here again.

Ate there last night with wife & daughter. I had the ribs and my daughter had the pulled pork. My daughter and I shared. Both the ribs and the pulled pork were quite tasty. The house BBQ sauce was on the sweeter side. My order also came with a salad and a very tasty blue cheese dressing on the side. Bacon bits and cheddar cheese were also options for the salad. I found the cheddar and blue cheese to be too much for one salad and will leave off the cheddar and bacon bits the next time.
